Love: person versus security - INTJ Forum

I think that is hard to define in terms of a specific list. For me it is a feeling I have in a person's presence, before I know anything about what they do, that strikes me first and then I am more interested in their personality, character, and the way their mind works. People who have strong beliefs and values and are taking action on them in their lives, I have more respect for, so they interest me, and I get curious and want to know them more. If the causes they fight for, are things I fight for as well, or would, it would have more pull for me in terms of being more receptive to considering a relationship of some sort - could be friendship or romantic. However it would be a combination of things all of those above and the person's physical appearance being attractive to me personally, not necessarily stereotypically that would lead it more into romantic relationships. Having paid work is not really an issue as a black and white thing, however I would want to know how the person survives and sustains their life financially and what their reasons for being out of work were as that would tell me a bit more about who they were as a person - for example if they had strong philosophical beliefs that resulted in a non-material lifestyle or had a temporary set back and were looking, or were reviewing their lives and reconsidering what they wanted to do, etc., etc.

Not sure what you mean by:

?

What qualities or sort of relationship connection would you need or think you would require?
